Leak Test Bench for Cylinder Valve
Primary Use
- Gas tightness test of cylinder valves (for industrial gases, medical oxygen, acetylene, CO₂, etc.)
- Leak detection of pressure vessel valves and small pressure vessels.
- Quality assurance in valve production, refurbishment and regular inspection
- Calibration and certification of valve sealing performance under pressurized conditions
- The system automatically pressurizes, stabilizes the pressure inside the valve, and then monitors the pressure decay or bubble escape to provide clear pass/fail determination for each test.
Operation Steps of Cylinder Valve Leak Test Bench
1. Fully open the cylinder valve to its top position. This is a dedicated high-pressure valve, and the high-pressure inlet is designed for connection to a high-pressure test gas source.
2. Ensure the high-pressure gas source is stable and meets the test requirements before proceeding to the next step.
3. Operate the open-type hand rotary valve downward to the bottom of the water tank, then slowly open the high-pressure valve to precisely control the pressure inside the cylinder.
4. When the pressure gauge reading reaches the target pressure required for the test, close the high-pressure seal valve to start the pressure holding/pressure test.
5. After the test is completed, open the drain valve to release the system pressure. Once the pressure is fully released, operate the hand rotary valve back to the top position of the water tank. You can then remove the workpiece and prepare for the next test.
